Well, Halloween is upon us again. We carved pumpkins tonight and tried to get Matthew to play in the pumpkin goo. He wasn't real interested but he did like picking up the seeds and pretending to scrape out the pumpkin. Tomorrow we are going to go to a couple Halloween events and do a small amount of trick or treating. I will hopefully post pics of that later. Here are some for now and Happy Halloween to everyone!

Apple Orchard
We went to a local apple orchard today since it was such a beautiful day outside. Matthew had a great time running throughout the orchard. We enjoyed some delicious apple mini doughnuts, a couple hot dogs and a caramel apple. Matthew ate a whole hot dog himself so we had to go back and buy a new hot dog for me to have. The doughnuts were by far the best thing though. It took Matthew awhile to try them but when he did he kept going back for more. We were lucky to be able to spend such a gorgeous day outside as a family!

Vacation
We went on vacation in the beginning of September to the lake for a week with my mom and dad. It was a great time other than a few "instances". Matthew was afraid of the boat the first time we went in it but after that he grew to love "captaining" the boat. The steering wheel was his favorite part. We caught a bunch of fish- Matthew grew to like the fish too. He would look over the side after we let them go expecting to still be able to see them. By the end of the week he would touch the fish that we caught.

We fed the ducks a few times but Matthew was more interested in eating the bread himself. He really liked the ducks though and he would have jumped in after them if we hadn't stopped him.
It was a great time and we can't wait until next year- I think we will get Matthew his own fishing pole for next year. Lookout fishy's everywhere.

Sorry for the delay

Hey there, Sorry for the delay in posting. I feel like we have been very busy but not sure what we have been busy with. For now just some pictures from August. We have gone to a few of the local car shows this summer and just had a lot of fun watching Matthew become a toddler. I will post some vacation pictures soon.
