First day at new daycare

Matthew had to change daycare because the family who he was with is moving to Florida. His official first day with Tammy was yesterday. He did really good. He didn't cry when I left him and he was so excited when I went to pick him up. He took a couple good naps and didn't cry much then either. He has 4 other kids to play with when he is there. They are 20 months, 2, 3 and 4 years old. He enjoys playing with the other kids and all of the fun toys that she has.

Baptism

Matthew was baptized on 2-7-09. It was a very nice day and a nice church service. He giggled at the people as we waited and as we walked by. He was a good boy during mass and as usual enjoyed being the center of attention.
After mass we came back to our house for cake to celebrate and while we were all sitting there he walked by himself holding onto a toy across the living room. It was neat that everyone was here to share in the moment.

Bella's B-day party

Last weekend we went to a friends daughter's (Bella) 1st b-day party. We had a fun time there. Matthew enjoyed watching Bella open her presents. The two babies took turns trying to poke each others eyes out. This is a funny picture of Matthew seeming sad that it isn't his birthday and that the presents are not for him.

I'm a little behind.

First of all, I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Our Christmas was wonderful and crazy all at the same time. Matthew was a little overwhelmed by the whole thing. He was up until 1AM Christmas Eve. I think he was trying to catch Santa Clause. We enjoyed spending time with family and seeing Brent and Timille.


Matthew has been cruising on the furniture for awhile now and it is so much fun. He has also perfected the art of crawling. He loves it when you race him down the hallway. He found the toilet paper roll and is trying to figure out how to flush the toilet. He still has just his two front bottom teeth.
